Terms & Conditions

1. About Stansted Direct Parking

Stansted Direct Parking is a private parking space located at Mulberry Court, Bishop's Stortford, CM23 3JW, operated by the property owner ("we", "us", "our"). By booking with us you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

2. Bookings & Confirmation

  • A booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received by us.
  • We will send you a booking confirmation and invoice by email within 2 hours of receiving your booking request.
  • Payment must be completed within 24 hours of the confirmation email. Failure to pay will result in the booking being cancelled and the space being released.
  • We reserve the right to decline any booking request at our sole discretion.

3. Entry & Exit Times

  • On your entry date, you may arrive and park at any time during that calendar day (00:01–23:59).
  • On your exit date, you must remove your vehicle by 23:59. There is no restriction on departure time within that day.
  • Vehicles must not be left beyond the booked exit date without prior written agreement. Overstays will be charged at £15 per day (or part thereof) and may result in the vehicle being reported to the relevant authorities.

4. Payment

  • Our current rate is £7.50 per day. A "day" means one calendar date.
  • Payment is accepted by bank transfer. Details are provided in the confirmation email.
  • All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • 7 or more days before entry date: full refund.
  • 3–6 days before entry date: 50% refund.
  • Less than 3 days before entry date, or no-show: no refund.
  • Refunds will be processed within 5 working days of the cancellation being confirmed by us.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted via the online form on this website or by emailing us directly with your booking reference.
  • If we cancel a booking for any reason, you will receive a full refund and we will notify you as promptly as possible.

6. Vehicle & Property Damage

  • The customer is fully responsible for any damage caused to the driveway, front garden, boundary walls, fencing, gates, property or any other part of the premises during their booking period or while accessing/leaving the space.
  • Any damage must be reported to us immediately. Failure to report damage discovered during or after the parking period does not limit our right to seek compensation.
  • The customer agrees to compensate us for the full reasonable cost of repair or replacement of any damaged property, as assessed by an independent tradesperson if necessary.
  • We reserve the right to pursue costs through the small claims court if damage costs are not settled within 14 days of notification.

7. Liability for Vehicles

  • Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner's risk. We accept no liability for theft, damage, fire, flooding or any other loss to a vehicle or its contents during the parking period.
  • We strongly recommend that your vehicle is covered by a valid insurance policy during the parking period.

8. Use of the Space

  • The parking space is to be used only for the parking of the registered vehicle described at the time of booking.
  • Customers must not block access to neighbouring properties, driveways, roads or footpaths.
  • No mechanical work, modifications, or repairs may be carried out on the vehicle while parked.
  • No hazardous materials, fuels, or illegal substances may be stored in or around the parked vehicle.
  • The customer must comply with all applicable laws and must not cause nuisance to neighbours or other residents.

9. Data Protection

Personal data collected at the time of booking (name, contact details, address, vehicle information) is used solely for the purpose of managing your booking and communicating with you about your parking. We do not share your data with third parties other than as required by law. Data is retained for up to 3 years for financial record-keeping purposes.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of booking applies to that booking.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
